Here are a few photos from the Northwest Hope and Healing ALKI 5K Run/Walk this morning. Team DART came out in full force! Many thanks to the VERY energetic Seattle Lutheran cheerleaders that not only walked for me - but cheered on the other runners and walkers. You guys are AWESOME and SO much fun! I am so proud of you - and appreciative that you would raise money for Northwest Hope and Healing, in my honor. GREAT JOB! Kudos to Cheer Captains Brooke and Bethany for your initiative and support!
Also, I was briefly interviewed again by Tracy Record of the West Seattle Blog about my treatment and the walk today. Check out the WS blog today - and the video will most likely be posted.

Hi - so glad we caught up with you just before the race! Just posted our report, which includes a video clip of the entire crowd of runners/walkers taking off (from our vantage point atop the same picnic table where the cheerleaders took their photo), plus our clip of Team Dart's leap, and a couple more, including that quick soundbite with you :) - Anyway, here's the West Seattle Blog link.

Rock on Team Dart! If there's one thing I am learning about the Dart's - there's no slowing em down... Sorry we missed Brunch, maybe we can all do Linner sometime soon?
